Anıl Calım

Anıl is a theatre performer based in Istanbul. He was born on November 3rd, 1991 in Bursa, Turkey. He studied Political Science and International Relations at Marmara University in Istanbul and started taking acting and drama classes to pursue his true passion – acting, on a full-time basis. With Erasmus exchange programme he had studied one year at Charles University in Prague-Czech Republic, where he met with Shakespeare Company. He had opportunity to perform in english-language classical theatre. He had completed several workshops and acting classes from various theatre groups and performed with various theatres. In addition to that, he is a Creative Drama leader teaching and working with both adults and children. Currently, he is performing in “Wanted: Rabbit”, theatre for children, which is a joint production of Atta Festival, Turkey & BonteHond, Holland.
